Effective January 1, 2026. Petre College collects only the personal information it needs to teach, report on, and bill for our programs — and treats families’ information with the care Ontario families expect under PIPEDA.
What we collect
Contact details (parent and student names, email, phone), academic records needed to deliver credits (report cards, marks, attendance, teacher notes), lesson recordings used for quality and student safety, and billing details. We do not sell or rent personal information — ever.
How it’s used
To deliver lessons and credits, report progress to you through the family portal, meet Ministry of Education reporting obligations for an inspected private school, and administer payments. Marks and transcripts are shared with OUAC and post-secondary institutions only as part of your child’s applications.
Storage & access
Records are stored on access-controlled Canadian-region servers. Within Petre, only your child’s teacher and administration can see their records. You may request a copy, a correction, or — subject to Ministry record-retention rules — deletion of your family’s information at any time.
